Based on the thing I learned on the pink shirt, I made another front shirred top from a soft purplish blue four-way knit. I used three different patterns plus several alterations. I love this shirt. The sleeves fit so much better. The FOE stretched a bit too much in the back, but it is not very noticable. more
I wanted to make a knit top with a shirred front for quite some time now. I finally decided to make a muslin out of this pink fabric. I came out pretty well, except I do not like the sleeves, so I will have to change them next time. more
A took apart an old checkered jumper and a pair of navy pants and made a summer dress for my little 5 year old daughter. There were several challenges during process, but in the end I managed to cut everything out and it looks great. more
I took four extra large t-shirts that were unflattering and way too big for me and made them into new fitted shirts. I used the pin-traced pattern with some additional altertions. Most of the shirts I totally took apart and sewed up again. more
