My 9 year old had only one wish for the birthday - to have a princess dress! So, I embarked on an adventure of creating this dress that I had no pattern for.

First I took a the bodice from ___ and adjusted it for the white panel that she wanted. I sewed little loops from ribbons into the seams, so that the ribbon could be pulled trhough it.

I made the skirt from the same pattern, lengthening it in the front and adding width as well as the train in the back.

I took the tops of the sleeves from _____, but measured and adjusted until they fit into the armholes. Then I drafted the white sleeve bottoms on my own.

She is so happy to get her dream dress and I am very happy that I managed to finish it on time =).
