This is a very challenging area for me. Because of my proportions, no commercial pattern fits me. If I would go by the bust measurements for size, I would end up with a way too large top and a very bad fit. That is why I haven't really sewn a good blouse yet. But fortunately I discovered that I could sew even knits on my regular machine and that knits are much more forgiving and not so hard to fit. I still have to do a FBA (full bust adjustment), but I am making progress. |
